Seth and I are spending the weekend in Denver with some friends. It’s great to get my city fix in!
Somehow it seems like there are endless photo ops in the city. Or maybe I just love all the buildings.
Whatever the draw is, I can’t seem to put my camera down. How about you, what are you loving to photograph?
Seth and I were making bets about a week ago as to when we thought the first snow might fall. I was certain it wouldn’t be until November! November 12th in fact was my guess. But I stand corrected- sorely corrected!
My guess is five inches- at least. Despite the cold surprise, we had a great day exploring and enjoying the lovely fall season.
I do love that Colorado weather is so sporadic. Keeps things interesting. But let’s be honest, what’s the first thing you do when you get five inches of snow in the beginning of October… you plan a vacation to somewhere beautiful, tropical, and warm. Because come January, you are going to need it!

I’ve gotten in the habit of using my iPhone so much. But my boss loaned me a 17-40mm and a 15mm fisheye. So I’ve been having a bit of fun with those!
I’ve been thinking a lot about buying a new lens. There are so many amazing choices out there that it’s hard to narrow it down. Do you have a favorite lens at the moment?

I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day about joining twitter. She had several good points. I mean, I can really see it being a great business tool. I guess I’m still a bit hesitant. With Facebook, blogging, flickr, etc, I’m not really crazy about something else to stay on top of. On the other hand, I don’t want to overlook something great because of a few minor hesitations. How about you, do you tweet? What do you think about twitter?

I’ve been challenging myself to take a photo everyday on my lunch break- make myself get out of the office, enjoy some fresh air, and get inspired! Truth be told, it has been really inspiring. I read in a photographer’s book not too long ago that, “Within twenty feet there are easily ten different photos one can take.” At first, it seemed a bit cliche to me, but I’ve been finding it to be a fun challenge! As you might have noticed, I’ve recently become enamored with iphone photos. Maybe the change of cameras has me inspired. Whatever the case, I’m having fun, and that’s all that matters. I’ve been thinking it would be fun to start a regular post on Fridays… maybe even post other peoples iphone photos.
